TRANSPORT FUEL SURCHARGE INCREASES - AUSTRALIA WIDE EFFECTVE 11TH MARCH 2026

Image title here...

Further to our recent advisory regarding potential diesel price volatility, we have now received formal notifications from the majority of our national transport and courier partners advising of fuel surcharge increases of between 7.5% and 10% will be implemented effective 11 March 2026.

As these increases are being applied across the transport sector in response to rising diesel costs, TCF will be required to pass through the adjusted fuel surcharges at cost effective 11 March 2026.

What this means

• Transport providers across Australia are increasing fuel surcharges due to higher diesel prices
• Adjustments being implemented range between 7.5% – 10% depending on carrier and location
• These changes will apply to road transport, courier and related domestic services
• TCF will pass these increases effective 11 March 2026

Diesel prices in Australia have been trending higher in recent weeks and remain closely linked to global oil markets and supply conditions. Industry data shows diesel prices in major Australian cities typically sit around $1.80–$2.20 per litre, with fluctuations driven by global supply disruptions and international benchmark fuel prices. Forecasts from some media outlets predict Diesel pricing to rise as high as $3.00 per litre in the coming week(s)

TCF will continue to closely monitor the situation and will advise clients should market conditions stabilise or if further adjustments are required.

We appreciate your understanding and continued support during this period of volatility.
