1 JANUARY 2026 - PORT LANDSIDE FEE INCREASES (VIC, NSW & QLD)
We would like to advise you that all container terminals and empty-container parks across Victoria, New South Wales and Queensland have issued their annual updates to landside and wharf-related charges, effective 1 January 2026.
These increases occur every year and are part of the standard pricing cycle for the major port operators nationally.
What is changing?
Across all three states, terminals and empty-park operators have announced increases to a range of fees, including:
- Infrastructure and wharf access fees
- VBS / slot booking fees
- Terminal handling and landside charges
- Empty-container park dehire and handling fees
- Storage and related ancillary charges
While each operator publishes its own tariff schedule, the changes are industry-wide and apply to all transport providers, forwarders and importers/exporters using the ports.
These changes will flow through the supply chain and will be reflected in transport and landside costs for import and export movements from 1 January 2026.
TCF will continue to apply all third-party increases on a pass-through basis and will ensure that any impacts to your shipments remain transparent by adjusting your pricing and tariffs.
If you would like to review how these changes apply to your specific movements, please contact your usual TCF representative.
Thank you for your understanding and continued support.
Kind regards,
TCF International
